First release

  • NewFinds what Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Orca leave on your Mac, with a verdict and its reasons for every item.
  • NewFinds and shows the data of Aider, Amp, Cline, Copilot CLI, Gemini CLI, Kiro and Windsurf; nothing of theirs is cleaned for now.
  • NewStorage as bubbles: size by space, color by verdict. Worktree cards show every reason, the repository and the branch on their back.
  • NewEvery item is checked again before cleaning; Ready items go to the Trash and come back with Put back in History.
  • NewFind (⌘F) with 90 days, 1 GB and agent filters.
  • NewA summary at a glance in the menu bar, with live scan progress.
  • NewAutomatic upkeep: daily or weekly scans, reminders and optional rules (Pro).
  • NewAnalytics: how agent data grows, what was cleaned this year, sessions' token counts and estimated cost (Pro).
  • NewSearch in sessions, and archiving old Claude Code conversations without touching their memory (Pro).
  • NewThe devbroom command: read-only scan, --details, --all and --json; devbroom compat shows which agent versions were tested.
  • Newdevbroom clean shows what's Ready first, asks, then moves it to the Trash. devbroom status gives the last scan.
  • Newdevbroom mcp: agents can read the last scan, ask about a folder and ask you to clean.

  • NewManaged settings (MDM) let organizations set protections and permissions.
  • NewUpdate check: when a new version is out the app asks you, checks its signature and installs it.
