Devbroom is coming soon.
Install it, pick your folders, start the first scan. Scanning only reads; unless you turn on Automatic upkeep, nothing on disk changes until you confirm. Devbroom is free; Pro features are on for the first 14 days.
Ready in three steps.
After setup Devbroom shows everything it finds as bubbles. Unless you turn on Automatic upkeep, it touches none of them without your OK.
Drag to Applications
Open the .dmg you downloaded, drag Devbroom to the Applications folder and open it from there.
Pick your folders
Choose the folders where your projects live. Devbroom already knows the agents' own folders; you don't need to add them.
Grant access if needed
If a folder macOS protects, such as Desktop or Documents, can't be read, Devbroom tells you and takes you to Full Disk Access in System Settings.
The same scan in the terminal.
devbroom reaches the same verdicts as the app and prints the same reasons; its scan changes nothing. devbroom clean shows what's Ready first, then moves it to the Trash. Nothing extra to install, it comes inside the app: press “Link devbroom” in Settings › Agents and integrations and it's linked into ~/.local/bin.

- System
- macOS 13.3 or later, Apple SiliconWindows support is planned.
- Updates
Devbroom checks for new versions by itself: once, 8 seconds after launch, and when you press “Check now” in Settings › General. It reads the
latest.jsonfile we publish and sends nothing about your Mac or your scan. If there's a new version it asks you, and when you press “Install” its signature is checked and it's installed. The command line tool lives inside the app, so it updates with it.
